Fair play fair pay

We welcome everyone and anyone who is looking to get in shape, learn self-defence, and
improve the overall quality of their lives. The Academy policy is: Fair Play – Fair Pay
In the very rare cases   we are asked “Can I do a free training session?” We have to politely say that we don’t.

We completely understand why others offer free classes. They want to get you in the door, then hopefully sell you a membership.

Out of repect to our paying members we ask that you do not attend any sessions until you have registered online and paid your session online.

The intro session will allow time to have a chat and see the facilities prior to the training. The cost of the intro is refunded when you become a member.

Some videos of the facility.

Please Select

No spectators please (except parents/gaurdians  of children participating)
This ensures that our  adults and children are not uncomfortable with the feeling  that they are being watched,

We prefer that those expressing an interest book  pay and book online to join in the session of their choice

Then the can truely decide if the activity is for them.

We respectfully request no attempt try to negotiate special terms ie mixing classes( most programmes are stand alone with standard discounts for multiple uptakes.

We do not do “pay as you go”, nor do we have prices for one lesson a week. We  want members who understand that there is very seldom an ad hoc quick fix  solution with respect to self defence, fitness and health  and  also understand that commitment is important to  progress.

We are sure that you will appreciate that we cannot enter into ie “ once a week training” or mixing programmes “ etc. If we do this for one person but not for others this is unfair and disrespectful to other members.

This goes back to the idea of value. Even if individuals doesn’t automatically value our programmes if we  start to discount or make changes to suit, it shows that we don’t really believe our value either.

quote

“I have come to an unbiased conclusion that whenever anyone asks for a free or a ridiculously cheap service, it means one and only one thing; disrespect for what you do. Yes! When people don’t have value for what you do, they don’t see why they should pay for what you offer them”.
