Although competing many years as a junior and also within the Government services Ebe put boxing on hold with the aim of competing in the Olympics in a Combat Art
His main focus switched to representing Great Britain for many years in Taekwondo World Championships from 1982 culminating in competing in the 1988 Olympics
In 2004 he started his own Academy and sought to add Boxing to the programme so set out to learn from the best in the industry , over the years returned to All Stars to train in the evening Fighter sessions and also to learn on a 1-2-1 basis learn from one e of the top boxing Coaches in British Boxing such as Q Shillingford
All Stars has produced over 30 Amateur Boxing Association (ABA) champions (boys & Girls). Mr Akay’s eldest son Tee Jay( RIP), who inspired the start of All Stars boxed in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, losing only to Evander Holyfield.
Over the years the club has been a training venue for many British champions such as Ashley Theophane, Frank Bruno, Nigel Benn, Joe Calzaghe and International World champions when they are in London, including from the USA
Time In Las Vegas: The aim was to create a fusion of Movement based Boxing so he travelled to Las Vegas and participated in and observed the training regimes of the top clubs such as City Boxing , Johnny Toccos and Mayweather Boxing wherever possible training and learning from the best.
The Floyd Mayweather Connection: During my time in Las Vegas was able to humbled to realise a dream of being trained by Jeff Mayweather

On returning to the UK a master class was set up former All Stars and former Floyd Mayweather boxer Ashley Theophane and the vision to move M1 J14 Boxing forward continues
